This is where I go if I want good, quality food that is close to home. I bypass other grocery stores most of the time to go here because they always have unique varieties of food to choose from that I can't find anywhere else! Wegmans is my favorite grocery store.
In this particular case I had no problems locating an employee to ask for the location of items. This is normally the case from my past experiences. The employee directed me to them.
This visit was extremely hectic (no fault of the store) but still a decent experience. I was busy & was working off a list but with the aid of store employees I was able to locate what I was looking for & get done in a decent time frame.
I then had to go check out. Even though I was in a hurry & frazzled the employee at the register was helpful with the checkout process & helped to complete it in a timely manner.
Last time I was here, it was so loud and crowded, I couldn't wait to get out! I couldn't even stop to look for certain products because people were lined up behind me! They need to make it more spacious, with smooth floors and no music. If I wanted a shopping experience like that, I'd go to Walmart.
It is the only place I get my groceries, most the time. Great workers and great atmosphere. Cafe is great to. Love the sub's.
Other than the fact there were shipments of stock in the aisles (which has to occur at some point) it was a decent showing on Wegmans part. One of the better grocery stores in Elmira IMHO.
Can always find what im looking for and i can buy in bulk for a lot and it has good prices with the store card. The only issue i have ever had is trying to understand why they would take everything out of one aisle so they can rearrange it at their most busiest time of day
