- In most cases you will be able to get your dog in for a visit quicker.

I would definitely recommend giving Home Vetinary Care an opportunity if you are looking to switch.

Pros:

Both experiences have been very enjoyable as the care my dogs and I received was excellent from both Dr. Hottel and her staff.

More recently I brought my second dog in to get neutered.

In addition to their wonderful personalities and compassion, our pet was correctly diagnosed with a rare disease that was missed by another vet. This diagnosis was confirmed with a blood test that needed to be sent out to a specialty lab. I feel that this is a result of their excellent skills, but also caring so much to go the extra mile to help the animals.

- no cons to mention at the moment.

I can't say enough about the treatment our dog received here. We switched from another vet after losing confidence and even at our first visit with Dr. Hottel, felt like we'd been clients for years. The staff truly cared for our dog, which they had just recently met.

- Dr. Hottel is the only vet so she will build a relationship with you and your dog overtime. My previous vet could potentially see 3-4 different vets over a course a year because they were so busy and I personally didn't like that.

Cons:

- I brought my dog in for a follow up visit (which I scheduled) after he was neutered and Dr. Hottel visited with him free of charge for the follow up. I was certainly surprised by this as my previous vet would have absolutely charged for the 5 - 10 minute visit.

Just switched to them. They are great.

They are always kind to me and my fur babies when we come in.

I recently switched and started bringing my two dogs to Home Veterinary Care in the Heights after one of my dogs needed to get a vaccination two days before we went on vacation in order to be kenneled; my former vet was unable to see my dog on such short notice.

My dog is treated excellent here. They know how to treat my little guy.
