Handy because it is near my house, but it can be pricey when compared to Lowe's or Home Depot. Also, you may want to call ahead to confirm that they have what you are looking for because they are a smaller store.
Helpful employees, and good prices. The staff are always very helpful and show you exactly where the product is that you are trying to find. Checkout is quicker with less lines than the big stores. Valu Home Centers stock all the needed essentials for the home, and for house repairs.

I like the smaller store. The big stores (Lowes and Home Depot) are sometimes too time consuming to get what you want. Valu Home Centers have as many registers open as the big stores (Lowes is notorious for long check out times). The friendliness and helpfulness at Valu far exceeds all other hardware stores.
